(v.1)

Jesus manifested Himself…He manifested Himself in this way.

Manifest: phanero – to render apparent

(Jesus) after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.” – Matthew 26:32 (NASB)

(vv.2-3)

…they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him. – Mark 1:20 (NIV)

…James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners. – Luke 5:10 (NIV)

(3 years Earlier) “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. …So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him. – Luke 5:4-7&11 (NIV)

(v.15) So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love (agapao) Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know (oida) that I love (phileo) You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” (NKJV)









Peter has learned not to his

(v.17) He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love (phileo) Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love (phileo) Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know (oida) all things; You know (ginosko) that I love (phileo) You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. – John 21:15-17 (NKJV)
