“Neither this man nor his parents sinned, ‘said Jesus. ‘But so that the work of God might be displayed in his life we must do the work of him who sent me while it is still day.” Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” (vv.3-4 NIV Life Application Commentary)
Jesus sees is an open door for (vv.3-4)
As The Light of the World (v.5) Jesus uses this man’s condition to give us a Picture of Salvation:
He’s
He can’t his condition
He’s not The Lord, The Lord is him
He initiates , The Lord initiates
Being blind he doesn’t know
Notice: God uses to bring Light (vv.6-7)
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God – Ephesians 2:8 (NKJV)
As a Picture of Salvation we notice:
His change will be to (vv.8-9)
He’s ready and willing to about what Jesus (v.11)
He doesn’t have but knows what Jesus (v.12)
