When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man (anthropos), your sins are forgiven you.” – Luke 5:20 (NKJV)
Man: anthropos – a human being, whether male or female generically, to include all human individuals (OTESD)
Jesus forgives the man’s (anthropos) sins and no one (v.23)

This man (anthropos) was brought to Jesus because of his need but Jesus met his need first
