For Disciples it’s not (vv.7-10)

Disciples are because they to be

Suppose one of you has a servant (duolos) plowing or looking after the sheep. (v.7) (NIV)

…for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and worldly, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers…slave traders (menstealers [KJV] andrapodistes), liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching. – 1 Timothy 1:9-10 (NASB)

A Disciple doesn’t what to

Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me… (v.8) (NIV)

A Disciple does what they

“We are merely servants, and we have simply done our duty.” (v.10) (CEV)

 (Jesus) It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. – Luke 12:37 (NIV)

Ten Lepers Cleansed (vv.11-19)

Acted in faith with no but His

The cleansing wasn’t …as they were going… (v.14)

This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest: And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper… And the priest shall command — that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water.

Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying (doxazo) God with a loud voice, and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks (eucharisteo) to Him. And he was a Samaritan.
