I’m (vv.7-8)

But to each one of us grace (charis) was given… – Ephesians 4:7 (NASU)

…he has given each one of us a special gift (charis)… – Ephesians 4:7 (NLT)

(Peter) As each one has received a special gift (charisma), employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace (charis) of God. – 1 Peter 4:10-11 (NASU)

Now there are varieties of gifts (charismata), but the same Spirit. – 1 Corinthians 12:4 (NASU)

These were given when Jesus (v.8)

When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” – Ephesians 4:8 (ESV)

These gifts will be in operation till (v.13)

(Peter) But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. – Acts 2:16-18 (ESV)

Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge (gnosis), it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect () comes, the partial will pass away. – 1 Corinthians 13:8-10 (ESV)

Knowledge: gnosis – a seeking to know, investigation (Vine’s)

And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations (governments KJV), and various kinds of tongues. – 1 Corinthians 12:28 (NASB)
